Some reminders should repeat only from the date you mark them complete. For instance, your car may require a change of engine oil once a year, but you may do it a month earlier or later.

The next time you want to be reminded to change your car engine oil, however, should be a year from when you last changed it.

To set up such a reminder, you choose 'Completion date' in the 'From' field under recurrence options.
